Let Us Pray for Our President

Today’s verses show how important it is to pray for our leaders, praying for God’s guidance for them, and trusting in His sovereignty over them all. It is our job to pray for them at all times and for America. It is time for America to turn back to God as it once was. We look around us and say, “what happened to us as a nation?” We are a nation who forgot our Supreme.

We went our own way in pride and greed. What happened to the Ten Commandments? What happened to love thy neighbor? Jesus is calling America, and it may be the last chance for us. I would not risk my future living without Christ Jesus. So many people we lost to fight for our freedom; wake up America and see the truth right before our eyes, if it wasn’t for God to step in what would we be facing? Also, our churches, where do you stand, in numbers or the cross of Christ? He went to Calvary for us so we may live a life, and live it more abundantly. Let us cry out to Him in repentance and come back to the cross of our salvation before it is too late. He is waiting with mercy and love for His children. He is the only one with power in His hand; He made this universe and put it into orbit. Keep praying and don’t give up! As one of our verses for today says, “If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Amen!

1 Timothy 2:1-2

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplication, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Proverbs 21:1

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turneth it withersoever He will.

Romans 13:1

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Psalm 72:1-2

Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

Psalm 33:12

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.

2 Chronicles 7:14

“If My people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
