How Great is God’s Love?

Today’s verses emphasize just how much God loves all of us, both saved and lost. As I went along my life’s journey, I met a gentleman who was in the Mafia [a Godfather|. My first thought was to get away from this person because he is evil. In my heart I felt a growing love for his salvation. We were friends for years, and I learned in his private life he was so different. He accepted my life in Jesus, and we shared many fun times together. By knowing him I learned something about me, how self-righteous I was, and that Jesus also loved him and died for him; I was judging him wrong. He needed Jesus, just like we all do. I cannot say he got saved, but I believe he did. He became very ill and no doctor could help him, and he passed away. You can read more about this in my book, which is available at the My Book tab. I just obeyed the Lord and did what He wanted from me, to show the Love of God. Sometimes we are the only Jesus people will ever see, and he saw the love of God through me. I just stayed me, no cursing, drinking or going out to nightclubs.  He would always say, “I never met anyone like you, you are the other side of the coin.” May we all walk as the Master walked and shine our light wherever He leads us. People are hurting, and we can be there to encourage them. I was one of those people and Jesus sent a good Christian friend to help me. Thank you, Jesus.

Love you all. Keep praying and trusting Jesus.
