The Goodness of God

The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.

Today’s verses tell us of God’s goodness, His mercy, and His desire to lead people to repentance and blessing. He knows we are made of dust, we are His creation; He loved us so much He sent His Son to die for our sins, which is the only way we could come before Him as sinless. Our righteousness is as filthy rags before our Lord Jesus Christ. Come to Him today and surrender to Him completely at the foot of the cross. Our Heavenly Father waits for our surrender. He will not compel you because He does not touch our freedom of will; you must come to Him on your own for, He is waiting to hear your hearts cry. I thank Him for my salvation because without it I don’t know where me and my children and grandchildren would be right now. I know where I came from and where I am today and it is all by the grace of the Lord. If we are honest with ourselves and tell the truth, we would be grateful for our Lord. He knows our hearts, so why do we hide? I love you all and thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Love, your sister in Christ
