To Be Used of God!
To be used of God is one of my greatest desires in life, and this chorus rings in my heart and says it all:
To be used of God; to sing, to speak, to pray
To be used of God; to show someone the way
I long so much to feel the touch of His consuming fire!
To be used of God is my desire!
I was 22 years old when I first heard this song and it has touched my life, and speaks true of my deepest desire. It has been my desire for Jesus to use me for His Glory. This is how He chose to use me, giving my testimony of His love in my life through my book, He Did It For Me, and my blog, Love of the Father. I would have never thought this would be how He would use me. I am not a good communicator or writer, but I submitted my life to His will and this is where He has led me. I feel like Moses who did not feel fit to lead his people into the promised land and was not a good speaker. God sent Aaron, his brother, with him, but that was not God’s first choice. I am so glad I obeyed His call on my life; it is so rewarding and worth all I have endured to be able to walk the path He has for me, and in it He is glorified. I pray I will be obedient to the end of my life.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
