My Prayers

I love to pray, I guess you can call me an intercessor. God has called me to pray for people, places, and situations. Anytime of the day or night, I will stop whatever I am doing and pray. But what is prayer? Simply talking to our Heavenly Father! It could be expressing the need for His help in our own lives or for someone else who is in need. Maybe, someone so hurt or discouraged that Jesus sends you to help them pray through to victory.

Today’s verses teach us of the power of earnest, faithful prayer. Even though we are human, Elijah prayers had great impact, including causing a drought and later bringing rain through his prayers again. This shows how powerful our prayers can be when offered in faith and fervency in subjugation to God’s Will.

So let us continue in prayer and supplication for we can move mountains through our Lord Jesus Christ, and keep our trust in Him and him alone.

The Lord already knows our needs; He wants us to come to Him in faith, believing. We can pray for the sick, the lost, the lonely, help with our finances, guidance with our decisions, or whatever else the need may be at the moment. He is always there to hear our prayers and see our tears. Keep praying, don’t stop; joy comes in the morning.

One day, something was heavy on my mind and the Lord said to me, “Joy comes in the morning.” As I was walking through the house praying, Jesus lifted up my heavy heart and filled it with his joy. The problem was not solved, but I did not have a heavy heart anymore! I had no power to fix the situation, but He eventually took care of it in His perfect timing. The battle was the Lord’s and the victory came so fast it surprised me. If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please reach out using the Contact Me tab. James 5:16-18

16-Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much;

17-Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

18- And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
