Holy Holy Holy!
Today’s verses tell the importance of holiness in our lives. We are called to be set apart for God’s purpose. We are to be holy in our daily life, start to pray and ask God to help us in our daily walk. Our Bible is our handbook to read every day for guidance. It is also called a mirror to see ourselves from God's view. Try to be with other Christians, so you will be of the same mind, as you walk together in His light. Do not just read the Word, but live what you are reading from the Bible as you walk towards holiness and love. Take one day at a time in your walk toward Heaven in holiness.
As I walked this holy road, I learned much about myself and the flesh. I prayed often for Jesus to examine my heart and see if there be any wicked way in me. As time went on, He showed me my fleshly desires and not to walk that way. I chose to be His servant and asked Him to help me to overcome the fleshly sins that were not of Him in my life. He turned the light on in my heart so I may see things that did not please Him. He came in and started to clean house. I was saved at the age of 22. For 54 years I served Him with no regrets, and He is still cleaning out the flesh in my life, which He will continue doing to the end of my days; and then I will see Him in Heaven! Only through Him can we get victory over the flesh, that is one of the reasons He died at calvary. So, go to Him and invite Him in, He will never fail us. We cannot overcome sin by ourselves. Continue in prayer, trust and reading the Bible; It has all the answers, we just need to be willing to seek.
1 Peter 1:15-16
15-But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16-Because it is written, “Be holy for I Am holy.”
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Ephesians 1:4
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
Hebrew 12:14
Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
