He is Always with You

Many times, in my life I knelt down to pray for guidance and peace. One time my manager fired me for something I did not do. They accused me of trying to win customers. The owner wanted me to keep an eye on the other workers, but I said “No, I am one of them.” Her daughter, the manager, accused me of lying and I said what her mother wanted me to do. I was just trying to do the best I can for Jesus because we work unto Him, not people. The daughter fired me on the spot and said if I didn’t leave now, she would have me thrown out. I left very sad that day. I needed that job to support the kids. Jesus comforted me in prayer as I turned to today’s scripture verses from Isaiah and Psalm. Some weeks passed, and they sold the shop to one of the other workers. That worker then called me back to work for her in that shop once again. Praise God! Jesus knew the beginning and the end. He knew what was ahead for me. I was just to trust in Him. A good lesson I learned that day.

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
