Blessed is The Peace Maker
In a world that is ugly with violence and hate, Jesus sends us as peacemakers. He has set us apart. We are different from everyone else in our actions, work, and approach to resolving conflict and discord in today's troubling world. We are to be more like Jesus, and we will receive an eternal reward. We are to reflect the divine character of Jesus in our actions through love. Let us acknowledge our deepest human need for God and to grow in that longing and that dependence daily. Jesus was a peacemaker, we know this to be true as one of His names in Isaiah 9:6 is “Prince of Peace,” and we should follow His example.
In my family, I was considered the peacemaker because I would hear both sides of the argument and go to Jesus in prayer, not judging either side, but just seeking His answer to the problem in love and trying to come to a peaceful conclusion. I always sought God’s will and to bring my family together in love, not to divide us which satan was trying to do. God honored it with peace and love in my family. We must not let our emotions get in the way of God’s will, for then we go the wrong way, into satan lies and destruction, and we lose the peace of God.
The precious touch of peace from God is something I never want to lose. It is priceless because the world cannot give it, and the world cannot take it away. My aim in life is to exalt My Savior and tell of His great love for mankind. It is our flesh and our emotions that hinder us in life with wrong thinking and wanting our own way. We should be continuously asking, “Is this what God wants?” Let us humble ourselves at the foot of His cross and ask Him what He will is for us to do. If you do that you will be blessed beyond all measures. He is a loving God. When the thief on the cross asked to be in His kingdom, he was not told to confess first; he just acknowledged who Jesus was, the King of Kings and Lord of all. Oh, what a Mighty God we serve! I prayed I touch someone's heart and free them of self, to be able to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Amen! Love to all! Remember, no one was born perfect, only Jesus.
Matthew 5:9
[Jesus said] “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
