The Bread of Life

I believe today’s verses speak for themselves. 

They tell how those of us who eat the bread of life, Jesus, will live forever- not on this earth but when we die our lives will continue in heaven, eternally.

He is the source of eternal life both physically and spiritually. Just as bread is a basic and essential food that sustains physical life, He also is spiritual nourishment that satisfies the deepest needs of the soul. Let us join in with Him at this time and receive His great love and mercy. He is a wonderful Lord. I know this to be true; I have served Him for 54 years with no regrets. Thank you for taking your time to read this simple yet profound truth that gives us peace, comfort, and most importantly hope for the future.

John 6:35

And Jesus said unto them, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.”

John 6:48

[Jesus said] “I am that bread of life.”

John 6:51

[Jesus said] “I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

John 6:58

[Jesus said] “This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever.”

John 6:32-33

32-Then Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven;

33-But My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.”

John 6:50

[Jesus said] “This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.”
