Sorrow of The Heart
Jesus waits patiently for us to turn to Him and give Him our sorrows and our pain. He sees every tear and feels every pain. Through walking with Him we grow in our spiritual walk in trust. Satan would like for us to give up and walk away from Jesus, then he will win. There were times I was confused, so I would fast and pray to get the mind of God in different matters. Sometimes I was so weary, I would have to stop because so many thoughts would come rushing in. The Word says to think on the things, whatever is holy and pure; don’t be anxious about anything, but in prayer and supplication let your request be made known to Him. I would have never made it through life if it was not for Jesus. I heard my relatives say, “she will never make it.” In God’s mercy, He carried me through many hard times. I know loneliness, not having money or a job, car troubles, and feeling like there is nowhere to turn, but I also know a great and mighty God! He is always there. I share my story as a testimony to God’s goodness, so others may be helped to not to quit. Let us remember Psalm 46:5, which says, “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her, and that right early.”
