Ritual or Relationship
This is who Jesus is to me. I know Him as Master, Savior, Lion of Judah, Blessed Prince of Peace, Good Shepherd, Fortress, Rock of Salvation, Lamb of God, Son of David, King of All the Ages. “His eternal life, Holy Lord of Glory, Holy Lord of Glory, His name is love. He is the Holy Lord of Glory. His name is Jesus.”
It is not just doing good deeds, going to church, and reading the bible. It is a relationship with Him. Doing these things are good but do not leave Him out, He should be in the center of all things. Seek Him first and all things will be added to you. Don’t get so comfortable in your works that you lose who you are working for. Today’s verses show the intimate, loving, and life changing relationship that believers have with Jesus. He is the source of life, our Shepherd, our Savior, and our constant companion in faith. Bow your knees to Jesus and take Him in as your Savior. Join your heart with His in love and childlike faith, for He is waiting for you. Love you all.
John 15:5
