Meek But Not Weak!
Matthew 5:5
[Jesus said] “Blessed is the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
Today’s verse teaches on meekness, which speaks to the strength in humility and trust in God. Meekness doesn’t mean that we are to let people walk all over us. We are to keep the law of God at all times, and we are not to back down from un-Godly ways. Sometimes it can be hard to take a stand, but as Phillipians 4:13 says, “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.”
Basically, I am a quiet person. I do not like to argue or hurt anyone. There are times when you have to speak up for right; then all hell breaks loose because satan is losing, and he wants to break peace and love in this world. That is his job, and now that he is exposed, he loses his power in the situation. The Bible teaches that what satan means for evil Jesus turns for good! He is our Heavenly Father and only wants what is best for us, while satan comes to steal and rejoice over the trouble he causes. Satan wants to stop us by putting fear in us, therefore we must stand on God’s word and go forward anyway, trusting in Jesus all the while. Keep praying and keep trusting Jesus, because He still is on His throne. No matter what lies ahead, He is still taking care of us. The battle is the Lord! The Holy Spirit does the work; we are just an instrument of His love to work in this world. So, rest in Him and have the victory. I send my love to all!
