I Am
There was a time at the beginning of my divorce that I became very fearful and angry. I did not know how we were going to make it in life. During my anger, God spoke to me clear as a bell, “I Am.” I had such a bad attitude that I was surprised Jesus would even speak to me, as I sure didn't deserve a kind word. “I Am will supply all your needs,” and He did. After my divorce, money was very tight for us. All four children came down with the measles (which I never had) and got in bed with me. I had to bring my daughter to the hospital because the measles went down her throat, and it was closing up on her. They had to give her pain medicine and an antibiotic right away. I never got the measles, the Lord protected me. Our water heater then broke and flooded out the whole basement. I panicked because I just had to pay for the kids being sick, so I called my ex-husband for help and the Lord said to me, “Never call him again, I will take care of all your needs,” and He did. I thank Jesus for looking beyond my faults and seeing my needs. He is so good!
