Faithfulness
Today’s verses show us that even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful, for He cannot go against His nature. He is the cornerstone of His character and the hope and strength of His people. If you build your house on Him, the Lord Jesus Christ which is the rock, your house will stand forever. If you build your house on the sand, when the floods of trouble come, you will be wiped out. I have seen many hard days, and I can testify of His great love and power that held my family together. There are people around me that can testify about my life. I just want to reach out to other hurting people and tell them not to give up, but to go to Jesus. We are not perfect, but Jesus is merciful! I have made many mistakes, but Jesus has taught me right from wrong. That is what happens when you surrender your life to Him; He comes in and cleans out the old and replaces it with the new man. I just want to be a servant for the Lord.
Lamentation 3:22-23
22-It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
23-They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.
Psalm 119:90
Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.
Psalm 89:1-2 & 5
1-I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2-For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.”
5- And the Heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.
2 Timothy 2:13
If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
