Cry Out to God with Praise and Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is always a special time of year for my family, as I am sure it is for many of your families as well. It provides us an opportunity to reflect on the things we are most thankful for. Today’s verses remind us of the importance of gratefulness, both to the Lord and for the greatest gift we can ever be thankful to receive, salvation through His Son. Thank you, Lord, for great victories won. As we cry out our praises unto You, I thank You for the many times You have touched my life and forgiven me for the times I have not thanked You for Your love and mercies. I am so grateful for Your love and enter Your courts with thanksgiving; You are worthy to be praised and honored. So many times, You have saved us from danger. I could never repay You for Your great works; so, I surrender my life to be used for Your Glory. We are so blinded and take things for granted, please Lord open our eyes to see more of You. Life is so short and we must not waste time. There are so many hurting hearts, let us bring forth the Healer, the Lord Christ Jesus, to this lost and dying world. It is not what we know, but who we know- the Son of God. He loved us so much that He died on the cruel cross of shame. Could we have been able to do the same? Just speaking for me, I would not have been able to do it.

One time, when my youngest son was one year old, he came down with high fever in the middle of the night. I did not know what to do, his body went limp and his eyes rolled upward. I did not want to bother my neighbor who was a nurse this time of night. I just cried out to Jesus, “Help!” Within seconds my son was healed. He sat up with a smile on his face, completely healed, no fever; it was like he was never sick. I have had so many miracles in my life, I can never deny the power of God. Thank you for reading.
