A Gift for you

As we approach the holiday season I would like to share with you the gift of Jesus, Merry Christmas.

When I gave my own life to Jesus, the world looked brighter, and my heart was filled with His great joy! Yes, as the years went on great problems came along, but Jesus was always there beside me to help see me through. Whether it was health problems, money problems, car problems, etc, He always saw me through with peace and wisdom. No one is free of problems in life, but it is how you look at them that matters, through your eyes or His. You can worry about them, or you can give them to Jesus for guidance. Answers don’t always come right away; He wants you to keep seeking Him in faith and trusting Him. Then, when the answers do come, it will have strengthened your trusting and developed your faith. Everyday we grow and mature in Him; just as a baby grows so do we, one step at a time. We should go from milk of the Word to eventually the meat of the Word, so that we then can help others. It takes our whole life to learn and grow, and when we reach the end, we will be heaven bound. Amen!

John 3:16

[Jesus said] “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Luke 2:10-11

10-Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

11-“For there is born to you this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

Matthew 1:21

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today’s verses present the birth of Jesus as the ultimate gift of love, offering salvation and peace to all who receive Him. It is the best gift you could offer anyone in this world- salvation.
