How Good He’s Been to Me
He was always there for me, no matter what happened in my life, to guide me through. I had opened my own beauty shop as the Lord directed, and it was strictly a Christian shop. I only played Christian music and we had a Christian atmosphere. God sent my best friend to help me put the shop together; we painted, did plumbing, and even put a new ceiling in. I did everything myself: hair, ordering supplies, managing my own books, and I loved it. It was a lot of work, plus I had four children to take care of being a single mom, but Jesus was with me all the time, guiding me through. Once when I was short on paying the rent, He sent in a lady who paid my rent for that month. Another time, two women came in to talk to me and pray, which I needed. There were those who threatened my life, driving a truck through my front window because they did not want me there, but again Jesus was there and protected me and my children.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.
